The Pakistan Institute of International Affairs is holding a Seminar on Artificial Intelligence: Emerging Trends and Global Implications on Saturday, 26 September 2026, at 4.30 p.m. sharp.
Speakers:
1. Mr Ammar Jaffri, founder of Digital Pakistan, former Additional Director General, Federal Investigation Agency, on Cyber Security for the National Security of Pakistan, will speak on ‘Use of AI for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’
2. Dr Ammara Aftab, CEO and Founder, Pro AI Global, will speak on ‘AI Diplomacy and the Global AI Race: Pakistan’s strategic position in the emerging AI Order‘
3. Mr Zarrar Khuhro, Commentator and Analyst, will speak on ‘AI: The end of the world as we know it? Why AI developers and whistleblowers are sounding the alarm’
